Fleas can be difficult to control. This is because flea eggs cannot be killed by pesticides. Even if the adults are killed, within two weeks the new fleas will reemerge and the problem will be back. However, we have a control program that can eliminate the issue. We begin by vacuuming as many fleas and their eggs as possible with a vacuum designed to trap bugs inside. Then we apply a dual acting pesticide that works in two ways. It kills the adult fleas and keeps them from biting you and your pets. It also contains an insect growth regulator that prevents new fleas from developing into biting adults. We will then retreat your home around fourteen days later to make sure that any hatching fleas are killed. It is also important to also take your pet to a veterinarian so they can be prescribed flea medication.
